It pulls together a list of benefits and concerns about using video games in education, including details like 70% of teachers feel that video games increases student engagement, a 2009 study which showed students were statistically less likely to have attention problems in school.

I wish there were more games where you did work and earned some time at a free time game. Fill in 10 math facts and then get 1 minute of game time. Too often some kids play the educational games by clickly randomly versus thinking. Or they find the least academic game on the site or a game that is too easy for them and keep playing that.
